Film Cluster
Introducing the project
We are excited to share the successful completion of the Film Cluster project, a pioneering initiative dedicated to fostering technological innovation and education within the audiovisual sector. This collaborative effort has created a robust ecosystem and hub for creators, organizations, and individuals engaged in or interested in the production of audiovisual content.
As part of the Film Cluster project, we have developed the Film Cluster Toolset (FCT), a comprehensive audiovisual toolkit designed to provide specialized knowledge and tools for today’s audiovisual production. This toolkit includes a range of cutting-edge technologies:
- Virtual Museums: This feature provides tools for creating virtual or digital museums. Users can create immersive virtual museums, displaying exhibits in a three-dimensional environment viewable via computer screens or VR headsets.
- Innovative Filming Technologies: The toolkit includes demo videos showcasing the latest technologies used in contemporary audiovisual productions, such as CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR). These are presented through real-world use cases, with additional detailed material available for asynchronous learning.
- Visual Effects: This component offers tools for creating sophisticated visual effects in audiovisual productions, allowing creators to generate complex environments and objects that are challenging to produce in the real world. Asynchronous training is available for users who need to enhance their skills.
- Photogrammetry: Users are provided with the means to digitize any physical object. The toolkit includes educational resources and tools for photographing objects and spaces to achieve three-dimensional digitization. Asynchronous learning courses are available for those requiring further instruction.
We invite you to visit filmcluster.gr to explore the latest and most innovative technologies shaping the future of audiovisual productions through our comprehensive toolkit. We look forward to seeing the impact of this project and the creative advancements it will bring.
The Film Cluster project (code GG2CL-0356978) was implemented under the Action “‘COLLABORATIVE INNOVATION CLUSTERS / CIC’ – 2nd Call: Businesses.” It was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and national resources, under the Operational Programme “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.”
