Crafting Tomorrow: Exploring the Future of Crafts
PostScriptum, M.E.S.O. Events, and Idea O.K. invite the public to attend “Crafting Tomorrow: Exploring the Future of Handicrafts” on Wednesday, March 27th, from 17:00 to 19:00, at Theater 104 (41 Evmolpidon, Athens). This event marks the completion of the collaborative European project CRAFTS+.
The CRAFTS+ project, which involves participation from PostScriptum (Greece), M.E.S.O. Events (Greece), and Idea O.K. (North Macedonia), is an Erasmus+ program aimed at empowering individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the fields of ceramics and broader handicrafts. This empowerment is achieved through educational training programs, workshops, and the creation of collaborative networks. CRAFTS+ aspires to enhance the landscape of education and employment in handicrafts by equipping professionals and interested parties with modern tools and practices to develop sustainable business models.
During the event “Crafting Tomorrow: Exploring the Future of Handicrafts,” there will be discussions on the current challenges faced by craft professions and the potential establishment of a Crafts Council in Greece.
The event will commence with a presentation of the CRAFTS+ project by Georges Perot, General Director of M.E.S.O. Events, followed by a roundtable discussion moderated by Kostas Konstantinidis, CEO of PostScriptum. After the presentations, there will be an open discussion with the audience, including a Q&A session.
