Virtual Tour of the National Archaeological Museum
PostScriptum coordinated and implemented a meticulously crafted 360° virtual tour with 450 viewpoints across 36 selected halls of the National Archaeological Museum. The tour includes references to 91 exhibits, showcasing and providing open access to the country’s most significant museum. The project is a cultural sponsorship by PostScriptum to the National Archaeological Museum as part of the National Action Plan for Persons with Disabilities.
The representation of physical spaces was achieved through high-resolution photography using Matterport technology. This presentation format allows the digital visitor to navigate freely through the space via high-fidelity panoramas and interact with each of the selected exhibits, accessing rich information through both images and texts in Greek and English, evoking emotions and fostering associations.
